Who we are

Voyage is a travel marketing agency for independent hotels. We help hotels get more direct bookings and show up well on Google Hotels, and we make films and photos of their properties.

Voyage is run by Samuel Smith, CEO and Founder, and is based in the United States. When this policy says "we" or "us", it means Voyage.

What we collect

The booking questionnaire

When you click Book a free audit, you go to a short questionnaire hosted by Typeform. It asks for:

• Your name, your role, and whether the owner will join the call
• Your email address, and your phone number if you choose to give it
• Your hotel's name, town and website
• How the hotel is run, how many rooms it has and its typical weekend nightly rate
• Roughly how many of your bookings come through sites like Expedia or Booking.com, if you choose to answer
• What you'd most like to get out of the audit, if you choose to answer

At the end you pick a time for the call through Calendly, which uses your name and email to book it. If you start the questionnaire and don't finish, Typeform may still save the answers you entered, and we may see them.

Emails and calls

If you email us or call, we get whatever you send or tell us, along with your email address or phone number.

Basic server logs

This site is hosted by Netlify. Like most web hosts, Netlify keeps standard server logs when someone visits. These include your IP address, your browser and the pages you asked for.

Cookies and analytics

This site has no forms of its own and doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts. The fonts, photos and videos all load from our own site.

Typeform and Calendly are separate services with their own privacy policies, and those apply when you use them.

How we use it

We use what you send us to reply to you, to prepare for and hold your audit, and to follow up with you about Voyage services. Before the call we look at your hotel's Google listing and booking path so we can bring notes.

We don't sell your information

We don't sell your personal information. We only share it with the service providers below so they can do their part, or when the law requires it.

Service providers

We use a few outside companies to run things:

• Typeform, for the booking questionnaire
• Calendly, for scheduling the call
• Netlify, which hosts this website
• Microsoft 365, for our email

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the work, or as long as the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we have about you, or ask us to correct it or delete it. You can also opt out of follow ups at any time.

Just email info@voyage.lifestyle and we'll take care of it.

Children

This site and our services are meant for hotel owners and their teams. They aren't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
